William is EIGHT! I can hardly believe it. For his birthday I made chocolate chocolate chip cupcakes with marshmallow frosting, and Will wanted M&Ms and sprinkles on top. They turned out pretty cute, I thought.
We had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner at his request, and then after dinner he opened presents. He got a card from Grandma Flash and Grandma K, a pocketknife from Dad, and scriptures with his name on them. When he opened his scripture bag he was kind of turning it over and over like he couldn't tell what it was. I asked him if he knew what it was and after a pause he replied, "A purse?" He seemed pretty confused that we would get him something like that. When we told him it was a scripture bag for his new quad he was much happier.
Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes. After that Will picked a movie to watch and they even got to stay up past their bedtime because they didn't have school the next day. At the end of the day I asked him if he had a good birthday, and he said that it was one of the best days of his life! :) He's such a funny kid.
His baptism is on the third of November and we are so excited for that. I can't believe he's already to this huge milestone.

I can't believe he's 8 either! But, he sure is looking grown up, I sure do love him!
