Family Reunion

This summer we did our first ever official Marilyn Karlinsey family reunion.  It was a little smaller than we would have liked. Mary and family couldn't come because of a recent, beautiful addition to their family. Adrienne couldn't come because of work. Joel couldn't come because of a backpacking trip with the young men from our ward.  And the week before the reunion Bill had a fall, puncturing his lung and breaking many bones, ending up in the ICU in Billings. So Mom and Bill were unable to make it.

Fortunately, the rest of us decided to gather despite this, and we are so glad we did. We had a great time up at Mickelson Field Station.  We drove up Monday. Amy rode with me and the kids so we were able to have a nice long chat.  Despite much construction, we made it to Mickelson just in time for dinner. The weather was so beautiful we took advantage and ate dinner outside.  We also taught the Pig Game to the rest of the cousins that first evening so we could all enjoy such a wonderful tradition.

More family reunion posts to come. Because there are so many pictures it's easier to break it up.
